Giving Back

It occurred to me the other day, at this time one year ago, I didn’t even have the idea for my business.

I couldn’t believe it. Was that right? Turns out, it was!

Turns out, this business that I have built, this business that’s not even a year old yet, has given away over 100 ice cream cones through our “Serve it Forward” (I changed scoop to serve) program which provides someone with an ice cream who needs it.

Bowl of Cream provided the community with a free Ice Cream Social at a local retirement home. Where the seniors and anyone from the community could come for ice cream, face painting, live music and fun activities for the kids.

Bowl of Cream was also able to provided four meals for 10-14 of the gentleman in our community who use the services of Hope Haven. I also provided soup for the Empty Mugs event hosted by The Co who donated the proceeds to Hope Haven.

Thank you Chatham-Kent for supporting my business. It’s because of YOUR support that Bowl of Cream is able to give back. We are just getting started! We are stronger together.
